Tutorials

Each year students are assigned a tutor. Normally the tutor is a full-time teacher of the Department and teaches on the course. Among other functions, the tutor:

- Advises students individually or in small groups on academic, personal and/or professional issues;
- Acts as an intermediary between students and the Dean, the Administration, and other faculty members;
- Manages and collaborates in actions aimed at improving student conditions in the Department.

The tutor is the most appropriate person for students to go to when they encounter a problem or concern of any kind (academic, personal, study-related, new initiatives, proposals for improvement, etc).

Academic tutorials

Lecturers are responsible for holding academic tutorials on the subjects they teach. These meetings focus on solving doubts or difficulties understanding the subject matter or guidance and follow up on projects and assignments.

In addition to assistance from your faculty tutors, the university offers you the Student Guidance and Support Service. This service aims to support and assist you in making decisions that affect your academic perfomance and personal well being.
