Iñaki Vazquez has a PhD in Computer Science with Doctor Europeus mention. Until 2010, he was Research Leader of the Intelligent Environments Research Group at the University of Deusto (Spain). His main research areas were smart objects connected to the Internet (Internet of Things). He has taken part in cross-European FP7 projects related to mobile computing, and he has also managed cooperative projects involving smart context-aware objects, wearable devices, and mobile computing systems. Iñaki has also founded several tech start-ups such as EasyContext and Symplio.
