Programa Internacional

Deusto students not only receive a solid academic background but we are also encouraged to broaden our minds and gain experience and knowledge in an international environment. Thanks to collaboration with the ICAM in Toulouse, I had the opportunity to do my Master's Final Project at one of France's most prestigious engineering schools.
When I finished the Master’s, I spent a year in Tokyo on a Vulcanus Grant. That’s where I started to apply knowledge from my degree to the field I was interested in: medicine.
After 8 months at a Japanese firm developing software to improve detection of Alzheimer's, I decided to do a PhD in Neuroscience at Cambridge University and here I am, some years later, now working in neurotechnology.
Believing that we can make our dreams come true is the first step to achieving them. I finished my PhD not long ago and now that I look back I realise that step by step we can reach whatever we set out to do
