From general knowledge to specialisation
- 1st year: You will learn the fundamentals of all the important engineering disciplines, which have a highly scientific orientation.
- 2nd and 3rd years: You will learn the basics of industrial engineering, in particular in the automotive, electronic and electrical areas. You will become familiar with the specific instruments used in industry and will put into practice aspects that will later help you in your professional practice.
- 4th year: You will choose specialist subjects in technological areas in the field of industrial electronics and automation. In addition, you will have the opportunity to spend one semester abroad, do an internship in a company and develop your Undergraduate Final Year Project.

You can combine subjects taught in Spanish, English and Basque.
Before completing the Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering, you must provide proof of having a B2 level in English (equivalent to the First Certificate of the University of Cambridge).
Bilingual Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering (English/Spanish)
Students who earn at least 40% of their credits in English and provide proof of a C1 level of English may obtain certification from the University of Deusto verifying that they have completed this language option in the degree programme. Students are required to provide proof of a C1 level in English by presenting an official certificate or by sitting an internal exam at the University of Deusto to attain this certification.
Access to the Master’s degree
The Bachelor's degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering will qualify you to practise as an industrial technical engineer.
