PEDRO MANUEL SASIA holds a PhD in Chemical Sciences by the University of the Basque Country. He is a lecturer at the University of Deusto, where he teaches at the Bilbao campus.He teaches BA courses on Engineering and MA courses on both Ethics for Social Construction and International Humanitarian Action. Specifically, he teaches the following subjects: BA level Civic and Professional Ethics, both in Spanish and in English, and MA level Applied Ethics in Organisations.His publications mainly focus on Applied Ethics. During the past few years he has been carrying out research on Organizational Ethics, Economic alternatives and Solidarity economy.He is part of the Applied Ethics in Social Construction research team, recognized by Basque Government.Other research interests include Ethical Banking and Business Ethics.
