Specialism in Mechanics

This degree combines training in a wide range of activities that are currently performed by Industrial Technical Engineers with a high level of specialisation in mechanics.

At the end of your degree, you will be able to:

  • Build, install and repair mechanical equipment installations and industrial constructions.
  • Build engines and cooling systems.
  • Check materials properties

Practical and participative training

This degree offers a very practical, dynamic and participative methodology to ensure you acquire a high level of practical skills, which are key to the professional development of these engineers. You will learn with real case studies and lecturers who are practicing professionals in the industry.

The presentations, projects, practical exercises, group discussion and debate will allow students to develop the competences needed by university graduates and the knowledge and skills in Mechanical Engineering.

The tutorial plan is intended to help students adapt to the University.

You will have a course tutor each academic year that will give you advice on academic, personal and/or professional matters, and will act as a point of contact with the Dean's office, Secretariat and other teaching staff members. Ultimately, your tutor will be the person you go to directly if you have any problems or concerns.

In addition, there is a University Guidance Service that can help you to make decisions that may affect your academic performance or personal well-being.
