Specific competences
  • Ability to plan, work out and design products, processes and installations in all the fields of telecommunications engineering.
  • Ability to plan and manage the installation work of telecommunication systems in compliance with the current legislation and ensuring the quality of service is maintained.
  • Capacity for mathematical modelling, calculation and simulation in technological and corporate engineering centres, particularly in research, development and innovation activities in all the areas related to Telecommunications Engineering and related multidisciplinary fields.
  • Capacity for the development, strategic planning, direction, management and coordination of technical and economic projects in all areas of Telecommunications Engineering, according to quality and environmental criteria.
  • Capacity for overall technical direction of research, development and innovation projects in business and technological centres.
  • Capacity for the implementation, direction and management of manufacturing processes of electronic and telecommunications equipment in order to ensure the security of individuals and goods, the final quality of products and their official approval.
  • Ability to apply the principles of economics and human resource and project management, as well as the legislation, regulation and normalisation of telecommunications.
  • Knowledge, understanding and ability to apply the necessary legislation in the professional practice of Telecommunications Engineering.
     

This master’s degree will equip students with the competences set out in  Ministerial Order CIN-355/2009 of 9 February, which establishes the requirements to be met by the degrees that will enable students to qualify as Telecommunications Engineers.
